Step-by-Step PAT Testing
Visual Inspection
We inspect the appliance for:

Plug Opening & Internal Check
Where appropriate, we open the plug top to:
Inspect fuse rating
Check wire connections
Ensure the cable clamp is secure
Electrical Testing
Using calibrated PAT testing equipment, we perform:

Insulation resistance testing
Functional checks (where safe)
Labelling
Every appliance is labelled with:
Unique asset ID
Pass/Fail status
Test date & re-test due date
